Peripheral Vascular Disease involves blockages in arteries. This can effect arteries to the stomach, the arms or the legs. The most common symptoms involve the blood supply to the legs and is called "claudication." Non-invasive testing with ultrasound and blood pressure cuffs can often diagnose this disease. Therapies can often be non-invasive or minimally invasive utilizing balloons and stents. |
